Equipment for Sale/Trade / Televue Panaramic Mount with extras… Sold

Hello again to all my fellow LGDSO members.  From my previous post, you may notice that I have purchased a televue scope and mount a little over a year ago. I am replacing both currently and have listed the scope separately. I am selling the Televue panoramic mount complete with the eyepiece caddy. Purchased new, these cost $815 plus.  I am willing to sell to members only for $400.  I will wait a week if anyone is interested and then post on Cloudy Nights for $500 if no one is.  Adding a Few photos but have others to provide if interested.

Equipment for Sale/Trade / Televue TV85 for sale… Sold

Hello to all my fellow LGDSO members.  Roughly one year ago, I bought what I thought would be the perfect small telescope, A used but excellent condition televue TV 85.  And at the time, I also got a TeleView tripod although since have added an IopTron altaz pro tripod(which is amazing).  Just recently, I got the option to purchase the one scope that I think is superior( at least in name) in terms of small but powerful refractors. So I am now selling my TeleView products:  For easy grouping I am selling the TV 85 complete with the carrying case, clamshell, everbright diagonal (2 inch 99% ) with 1.25 inch adaptor and including a TV 20mm plossl eyepiece and the TV sol-searcher.  Purchased new, these cost $2795 plus.  I am willing to sell to members only for $1700.  I will wait a week if anyone is interested and then post on Cloudy Nights for $1850 if no one is.  Adding a few photos but have others to provide if interested.

Equipment for Sale/Trade / Selling my Meade LX 90 8 inch SCT with extras

Hi to all, I am making a change in equipment and selling my Meade LX90 8 inch SCT.  It is roughly 2.5 years old but has had limited use in the past year.  If you have seen me at Sidewalk Astronomy events, you have probably seen this.  This is the newer design with the ACF Advanced Coma Free glass. I have the original 1.25 inch diagonal but am including the 2 inch dielectric diagonal  (99% reflective) from GSO.  I am including an Astrozap dew shield.  I also have an equatorial wedge for it that I only used once AND have a Meade Eyepiece case with several Meade plossls to sweeten the deal.  I will put it on Cloudy nights in a few days but would like to make it easy and offer to someone in our group first.  Over $2000 in it and will sell to a member for $850.  Will likely put it on CN for $1K.  Call or message me if interested:  Andy:  941-320-4271.

Equipment for Sale/Trade / Televue TV60 with 1.25 inch Everbrite Diagonal

Hi to all:  I am selling my Televue Tv60 on Cloudy Nights.  It includes the scope, the dielectric diagonal, a dovetail bar adaptor to mount scope on a larger mount, and an Olivion case that is not in great shape but has worked well for me on several trips.  I have all for sale on Cloudy nights for $600 but will sell to my LGDSO members/friends for $525.  Email me at thebaldbassguy@yahoo.com or call at 941-320-4271 with any questions.

Equipment Wanted / Diagonal

Hi,  does anyone have a 2 inch or 1.25 inch dialectric diagonal (99%) that she or he would like to sell cheap??  I need one (either).  Orion has a 1.25 on sale for $72 right now but thought I would reach  out to the club before buying this one.   Thanks,

Equipment Wanted / Alt-Az Mount

Hello to all,


Anyone have a relatively cheap Alt-Az mount that they are looking to get rid of?  It needs to be sturdy enough to hold at least 12 lbs with stability and I would prefer slow motion controls.  Let me know, please.
